Over the last 10 years, the Danone Nations Cup has made a name for itself as the greatest competition in the world for footballers aged between 10 and 12; it is also approved and accredited by FIFA.

The DNC is an occasion for children from 40 countries to share the incredible experience of the biggest international football competition for kids from 10-12, with the support of its legendary godfather Zinedine Zidane.

Parallel to this incredible growth, the Danone Nations Cup has managed to hold on to its human and sporting values which, since the start, have made up its unique spirit based on Fair Play, Pleasure of the game, Proximity and Openness.Â

In Ireland, the tournament involved 1,162 kids and is supported by the Football Federation. The ambassador is Kevin Doyle.
The national final took place in Dublin on 21st June. The team of “Waterford Villa FC” will have the honour to represent its country at the DNC World Final.
