The Nations Cup in Mexico started with a very crowded press conference, since the godfathers (Michel Bauer, President of Club America, Jaime Ordiales, Sports Director of Club America, Jesus Ramirez, Technical Coach of Club America and Champion with the SUB-17 Selection in 2005 and, Alfredo Tena, Technical Coach of the Basic Forces of Club America) were present, as well as the most important sports media in the country. 

The great final of the local tournament was played at the training fields of Club America located in the heart of Coapa, southbound Mexico City. After a cardiac match, the host team won the Cup with penalties against the Pumas team.
